Dayz standalone vs mod

As I said before I loved the mod and as much as I hate to admit it, it is time to let it go (again). It has been tried twice before I believe, once with Namalsk and once with Chernarus and both times it failed due to lack of support. The problem being that this lasted for about 3-4 days then everyone went back to playing SA even though it is a broke game.

The DayZ Mod was great to start with and people loved the nostalgia of playing it again. Here's the thing though, when we ran a DayZ Mod and SA server side by side people realised that SA was far better for RP potential. Dayzrp on the DayZ mod was probably one of the greatest things ever, it had a lot more roleplay to it and it was a lot more fun. These developers seem pretty lazy that they can't fix problems that have been in the game since the release. A game should not be in early access for two years, that's insane. People are starting to take notice of this. You can't look forward to a game that is being updated every couple of months and is not being fixed. What happened in Mod stayed in Mod, We have a new game to look forward to and to support it.Įven though it's pretty tough to host, Join and play on the servers but make do with what you got eh? But honestly you got to hear it out from the older members.
